Sonic Adventure wouldn't have been mid if the japs werent so autistic on adding so much playstyles. Tails is unnecessary, you could just speedrun the regular levels as sonic. Knuckles was alright but couldve been short sections as sonic where you grab a few keys to open a secret area for goodies, amy was okayish for a stealth/puzzle? segment but felt out of place in a sonic game. fuck Big the cat. Gamma was the only decent alt player and it could've just been integrated in sonics story as he helps the robot locate its partners to kill or something.

Generations is just a tight, firm, unoffensive title with no true negatives beyond length and story. Frankly I cannot bring myself to rate it any lower. 06 is a damn good game, I've beat all the campaigns thrice over. Great soundtrack, great level design, great skill-ceilings with the custom shoes, great story et cetera et cetera. "muh potential" caca get the rope though, 06 had potential and it executed it just fine, unless of course you're intentionally messing with the game engine trying to get a glitch to occur.

Tbh Big isn’t so bad once you know what you’re doing, then you can clear every stage in like a minute. Worst character to play as is Amy by far, she’s just so ass to play as and idk why
I always liked playing as Tails, it was always so cool to beat Windy Valley without touching the ground
